Friends of Larnaca Cats is a small group of dedicated volunteer animal lovers. They came together because they are concerned about the condition of stray, street and feral cats in their area, many of whom live in dire conditions, struggling to survive off the food they are able to scavenge. Currently there is no government supported initiative to neuter feral populations and so cats are stuck in an ongoing cycle of breeding. Life for feral cats is short and full of risk from injury, disease and starvation. There is a shocking death toll amongst young kittens.
Friends of Larnaca Cats has a small sanctuary (Sandy's Place) in the Larnaca district where a population of adult cats and kittens are cared for. We try to home as many of these cats as we can.

This is a group dedicated to the promotion, rescue and rehoming of German Shepherd Dogs found around the island of Cyprus.
The Glücksfellchen Tierhilfe e.V. has set itself the task of dog rescue and dog re homing.
They mediate dogs from Romania directly from the killing station or from a reception station, which we support and which accommodates up to 250 street dogs.
Guardians of Chinese Animals is an international organization founded in UK. We campaign for closure of slaughterhouses and compassionate treatment.
We support Chinese and International animal rights volunteers in China who save animals, by posting videos, photos, blogs about their tireless work, and by use the donation account provided by the Chinese animal protection Groups to collecting donations for them and for the saved animals. We do not represent volunteers and we do not collect the donations on their behalf. All the donations will directly go to their donation account. Our page just a propaganda page. Because China Block the Facebook, Through this platform we hope to bring the world's attention to the Tragic situation of Chinese animals .We are independent from any volunteer groups . We campaign for closure of slaughterhouses in China, strict legal ban of dog meat, cat meat, end of fur production, end of bile production, end of torturing animals, abusing animals, cruelty on animals, caging of animals, neglecting animals in China, for government and legal upholding of animal rights in China, for treatment of animals only with compassion and care, for cultural and social shift of consciousness towards animals - they are not our properties to do with them what we like. Animal have rights on our planet Earth and humans have to respect their rights. Animals do not exist on our planet to provide food, leather, fur for humans. Guardians focuses on animal rights in China while we also care for animal rights in the whole world and we do not support the farming of animals and the production of meat anywhere in the world. However at this stage we focus particularly on dog and cat meat production which takes place in China, Korea, SK, Thailand, Vietnam to the exception of the rest of the world, and we campaign passionately to end it in 2016. We believe in growing compassion in China and shifts of consciousness towards animals on a national, socio-cultural scale. We believe in the West and the East of our planet Earth, joining together in peace and support for each other, positively, constructively and focused on our common goal.
Hunde in Not means Dogs in need:
Hunde in Not do not find dogs themselves and are neither an animal exchange nor an animal market.
Here animal protection societies have the possibility to present their animals free of charge. The use is and remains free for the participating associations.
Puppies and small dogs in need, mixed breeds, pedigree dogs from animal protection shelters in Germany available for re homing.
The association Hundeliebe - grenzenlos e. V. rehomes dogs in need and supports animal protection activists locally AND abroad.
Especially also for fur noses from killing stations, which have no one else to help them, who protects and cares for them and stands up for them every day.
Help for the Cats in Cyprus was started by Marion in January 2017, after a visit to the island.
The misery of the local animals cannot be ignored and I decided to help.
The Animals of the Cat Colonies are often very social, because they are used to tourists.
However, not everyone thinks well of them some feel disturbed by the cats. The beach, the restaurants and the street are definitely not a safe place. You can find poisoned or run over animals everywhere. Fortunately, we succeed with the helpers on the spot to place one or the other kitten in a loving and safe home.

Many cats & kittens have passed through here and many still looking for a home!

Municipal kennel run by a volunteer and aiming to become an example to other municipalities in Cyprus.
The effort is big and we will need good support..!
Sotira Lost Paws are supporting and re homing dogs who have been found straying or abandoned, or surrendered who have exceeded their 15days.
We rescue them from this fate in order to give them a second chance at finding a loving home and enrich the lives of their adopters!
Lost Paws is a group made up entirely of volunteers.
Saving lives daily, dumped, abandoned and unloved. . Our aim is to give all dogs a second chance and let them live how they should. Loved and wanted:)
