This is more of a Group of Volunteers on Social Media than a Shelter, but I decided to include it anyway as they do excellent work in finding new Homes for Cats from Cyprus.
The aim of this group and its members is to find lovely homes for rescued Stray Cats from Cyprus, who are in great danger of being poisoned or crashed by cars due to evil humans. All cats are rescued from sad situations and despite their pain and suffering, they are showing unconditional love and give us daily lessons of kindness.
Imagine a place where cats are safe but still enjoy the outdoors, taken care of twice daily, and thrive on love and attention given by people who don’t own them per se, but who take the time to care.
The Malcolm Cat Protection Society, near the city of Limassol in Cyprus, is such a place.
Read on their Website to learn about the Society, see some great pictures of our cats; and find out how you can become part of the organization, whether you live on the island of Cyprus or in some other part of the world.

Noah's Ark Shelter is a small private shelter situated just outside Ormideia, Larnaca, Cyprus. If you would like to adopt/sponsor a dog, help out or donate, we would be very grateful. If you want to visit Noah's Ark, we are approx 10 minutes from Lidl Ormideia, for directions please call Maria ( 00357 ) 99325897. It's always best to phone first as we maybe down helping the dogs and may not hear you :)
The shelter faces an uphill battle for funding, maintenance, food for the dogs and vets bills. These are met from donations, boarding dogs and Maria's own private funds. Noah's Ark receives no help from the government or municipality at all, yet Maria cares for numerous dogs and puppies who have been abandoned.

Paralimni Dog Pound is run by volunteers whose aim is to find permanent homes for the many stray and abandoned dogs who are found wandering the streets.
Most of these dogs are unwanted and have been abandoned to the streets by their owners.
They feel lost, confused and all they want is a warm home with a loving family where they can feel safe.
We try to find homes both here in Cyprus and also abroad. We also badly need people in Cyprus to foster for varying lengths of time whilst our furry friends wait for a loving permanent home or whilst waiting to be flown to a new home abroad.

Romanian Rescue Dogs
Paws2Rescue is a UK Registered charity (1156882) that works to relieve the plight of Romanian dogs by supporting private shelters with food and bedding, raising donations for veterinary treatments and running education and neutering programmes. We also help some of these dogs to find loving family homes in the UK and across Europe.
Salvate-Canes is a registered, non-profit animal welfare organization, which is mainly working with and for stray dogs from Romanian Shelters and the support of these facilities.
There are many stray dogs in Romania. Dogs which are no longer wanted or needed by their owners get abandoned, puppies from unwanted litters which are abandoned soon after birth on the streets. Many do not survive these terrible conditions, are run over, or starve. But those who make it, continue to multiply uncontrollably.
You can help in many ways. Please follow this link to Salvate-Canes e.V. own Website(in German)
